לדוד ברכי נפשי אתיהוה וכלקרבי אתשם קדשו
Of David.Bless GOD, O my soul,all my being, that holy name.

ברכי נפשי אתיהוה ואלתשכחי כלגמוליו
Bless the ETERNAL One, O my soul,and do not forget all God’s bounties.

הסלח לכלעונכי הרפא לכלתחלואיכי
All your sins are forgiven,all your diseases healed.

הגואל משחת חייכי המעטרכי חסד ורחמים
Your life is redeemed from the Pit,you are surrounded with steadfast love and mercy.

המשביע בטוב עדיך תתחדש כנשר נעוריכי
You are satisfied with good things in the prime of life,athe prime of life Meaning of Heb. uncertain. so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

GOD executes righteous actsand judgments for all who are wronged—

יודיע דרכיו למשה לבני ישראל עלילותיו
making known to Moses the divine ways,and to the children of Israel, holy deeds.

רחום וחנון יהוה ארך אפים ורבחסד
GOD is compassionate and gracious,slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love.

לאלנצח יריב ולא לעולם יטור
[God] will not contend forever,or nurse anger for all time.
Psalms 103:10

לא כחטאינו עשה לנו ולא כעונתינו גמל עלינו
[God] has not dealt with us according to our sins,nor requited us according to our iniquities.

כי כגבה שמים עלהארץ גבר חסדו עליראיו
For as the heavens are high above the earth,so great is divine steadfast love toward those who show reverence.

כרחק מזרח ממערב הרחיק ממנו אתפשעינו
As east is far from west,so far have our sins been removed from us.
Psalms 103:13

כרחם אב עלבנים רחם יהוה עליראיו
As a father has compassion for his children,so GOD has compassion for those who show reverence.
Psalms 103:14

כיהוא ידע יצרנו זכור כיעפר אנחנו
For [God] knows how we are formed,and is mindful that we are dust.
Psalms 103:15

אנוש כחציר ימיו כציץ השדה כן יציץ
Mortals, their days are like those of grass;they bloom like a flower of the field;

כי רוח עברהבו ואיננו ולאיכירנו עוד מקומו
a wind passes by and it is no more,its own place no longer knows it.

וחסד יהוה מעולם ועדעולם עליראיו וצדקתו לבני בנים
But GOD’s steadfast love is for all eternitytoward those who show reverence,and God’s beneficence is for the children’s children

לשמרי בריתו ולזכרי פקדיו לעשותם
of those who keep the covenantand remember to observe the divine precepts.

יהוה בשמים הכין כסאו ומלכותו בכל משלה
GOD has established the heavenly throne,with a sovereign rule over all.

ברכו יהוה מלאכיו גברי כח עשי דברו לשמע בקול דברו
Bless the ETERNAL One, O angels,mighty creatures who do God’s bidding,ever obedient to that bidding;
